    Dear Madam,
I dont have data in the format required for demand analysis, i.e. number of devices and the energy intensity of the individual device.
Rather the energy consumption data, which I have is as per the category of the consumers i.e.the end use data
Please advise as to how to use this data in LEAP,
    Regards,
    Rajesh kale

    Hi Rajesh,

It is not a problem if you do not have specific end-use data - most people do not have access to this level of detailed information.

You can use the flexible structure in LEAP to create a simple top-down structure where you start with categories for sectors and then create technology branches for each fuel consumed in each sector.

For an example of this, see the starter data set for India that I see you have downloaded and then let me know if you have any questions.

    Best,

    Tory
