    Hello all,

My Master's group is performing an energy analysis for Bangladesh using LEAP. We intend to produce a sustainable national energy plan utilizing local renewable sources.

Has anyone performed an investigation of Bangladesh using LEAP or similar modeling software? Is anyone willing to share recent LEAP reports and/or data sets concerning Bangladesh? These would be very helpful as references for our project.

    Thanks,
    Nathan Olive

    Hello Nathan:

I did some work on a UNDP project in Bangladesh for which we prepared a LEAP dataset, but I fear it was 12 years, ago, back in the DOS days of LEAP. If you feel some of the work might still be of use to you, let me know, and I'll see what I still have.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks David,

While some more recent data would of course be more pertinent, I would absolutely appreciate the opportunity to look over whatever information you still have. You can reach me at noli08@plan.aau.dk.

    Regards,
    Nathan

    Hi

National Energy Planning was done under a project a decade ago by a project funded by ADB. I am working in energy division in Planning Commission, if necessary i can contribute to my best.

Here the main problem for national energy planning by using LEAP is insufficient data.

    Regards
