Are you interested in how organizations have been applying LEAP for energy, climate mitigation, and air pollution abatement planning? We've got you covered!

We've just updated the Applications page with a huge new batch of information about major LEAP applications that have been conducted around the world. We've added more than 30 major new studies and presented them all in an easy-to-sort-and-search database that now describes 116 studies and reports in total.

The page includes information on how studies have contributed to many different topics including national energy strategies, Nationally Determined Contributions on climate change (NDCs), Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategies (LT-LEDS), clean air plans, and SDG planning. The studies have been conducted by many different organizations and at a variety of scales including cities, provinces, countries, multi-country regions, and even globally. Many of the studies go beyond modeling and planning to examine the implementation of plans and strategies. Each application is briefly summarized and most include links to executive summaries, full reports, and slide decks. Some even include explanatory videos and links to the actual LEAP models developed for the studies. You can download these and view them in LEAP.

We're planning to add more soon, but in the meantime if you'd like one of your reports to be included, please just contact us (leap@sei.org).

We've also updated the workshops page. It now list more than 150 past workshops, which can be easily searched by date and location, or via an interactive map. The list is just a partial sample of all the great capacity building work going on around the world by SEI and many other organizations. Contact us if you want to add an entry.
