Hi,

I'm working with a group of students on a final school project and we are trying to model the energy demand of a country. Under one of our scenarios we are trying to implement renewable technologies such as solar, biogas and municipal solid waste. We want to do this endogenously and modify the build order. We want to be able to set limits to the capacity built for each technology per year but whenever we try to define the Max Built Capacity and run the program the results over look the Max Built Capacity and use only the technology with a Build Order of zero.

Has anyone worked with this feature that could give us some advice?

Could you send me your LEAP data set (as a zip file) plus brief instructions on how to reproduce the problem? I will try to see what is going on.

I have a crunch deadline today but will try to look at it this week.

Where is the Maximum Built Capacity tab?

I know it must be in process data with capacities aviable, but it is no there.

That tab is only visible if you have build orders greater than "1" in the endogenous capacity tab.

The idea is that you can set a maximum amount of capacity of a certain type to be built (build order 0), after which it moves on to those of type build order 1,2,3. etc.
