Can one specify a load curve based on week days and another on week ends (instead of by season)?
These could then have (for example) 24 hourly time slices in each case (i.e., 24 time slices for week days and 24 time slices for week ends)?

    Hi Claude,

Yes this is possible, but there is a caveat. To use this method you first need to tell LEAP that you are going to use a seasonal/time of day load shape. You can do that on the General: Basic Parameters: Loads screen.

Next, you will need to edit the list of time slices on the General: Time slices screen. You can then specify different load shapes for those time slices on the General: Load Shapes screen.

The main caveat is that having large numbers of time slices will likely cause a very big increase in the time take for LEAP to calculate. I am working on developing a new database format that should make complex data sets quicker to calculate. But that won't be ready until next year at least I'm afraid.

    Best,

    Charlie
