    Hi there,

A couple of things that may help with this:

    1. In the General: Basic Parameters: Stocks screen, make sure you have a check mark in the box marked "Top-down sales and stock data"

    2. Second, in the demand tree, make sure you have set up all your lowest level Technology branches in your demand tree using the method "Transport Analysis". NB: Do NOT use "Activity Analysis" You can review these methods by clicking the Properties button for each branch in the tree.

Your tree should look something like this:

    Demand
    +Cars
    | +Internal Combustion
    | | +Gasoline
    | | +Diesel
    | +Hybrid
    | +Gasoline
    +SUVs

    3. Finally, select the Current Accounts scenario and then click on the Demand branch. You should see variables (tabs) for both stocks and sales where you can enter your data. Below these branches you can specify the stock and sales shares.

Tip: stock data only appears in Current Accounts. Stocks are calculated (not entered) in scenarios.

Tip 2: You may see the activity level variable still appearing. You do not need to specify any data for activity levels if you are using the transport methodology.

    I hope this helps.

    Charlie
