    Hi Every one

I am writing from Malaysia. I have undertaken my Post Graduate Research leading to PhD recently and not only found LEAP as an excellent energy tool but as well Commend Forum and its developer, very interactive and helpful.

I have just started learning and exploring the LEAP features using tool itself as well reading material available on these pages alongside archive discussions. Meanwhile, following this brief review I am excited to know about LEAP as modeling tool for "Integrated Electricity Planning" i.e. modeling both supply and demand side aspects of the Long range planning, particularly to develop various alternatives for policy decisions as input to in national or regional plans.

    Thanks

    With Regards

    Nayyar Hussain

    Best,

    Hi Thiam,

To get started with LEAP I recommend going through our general purpose training exercises which can be found on the LEAP: Training Materials page here on COMMEND. This will give you an introduction to the demand and supply functionality in LEAP and give you a good idea of how to create your own models.

    I hope this helps!
