Hi Charlie / Victoria

Can you help me understand "Avoided Cost" in results view of LEAP.

This is not same as "Difference" as the difference in reference cost to mitigation cost of any particular scenario is not matching with Avoided cost where as in case of GHG emission it's same? I try to look in LEAP user guide 2009 but in vain.

Hi Veena,

The “avoided versus” chart may be a bit confusing when looking at costs. It shows you the total costs in a mitigation scenario and one bar showing the difference in total costs from reference to mitigation. I suggest you stick with the “show difference” chart for costs.
