    Hi Nicholaus,

Thanks for the detailed information. It sounds like there may have been an error in installation which usually happens when users do not have admin rights to their computer.

To download LEAP properly you must be logged in as the administrator (not another user on the same computer) and then you must run LEAP at least once with these administrative rights so that registry keys can install properly.

Please see this related forum post: http://tinyurl.com/2axphzc

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

    Hi Tory,

Thank you for the reply. I am the administrator for my computer, so that shouldn't have been the problem, but just in case, I uninstalled it, and reran using right click > run as admin.

I also went into the folder and changed the read/write permissions to allow for all users.

Still, the program crashes in the same manner as before. Actually, to give a little more detail. The first time it runs, I am prompted to enter my user and license key, and this validates correctly. However, after, while it says it is "opening freedonia" it stalls and then the error messages I described previously come up.

Any more ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

    Hi Nicholaus,

Have you been able to successfully run LEAP on your machine? If not, please let me know if you were installing for the first time or updating from within LEAP (from the Help: Check for Updates option).

Another thing to try would be to delete the LEAP Settings folder (found here on Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\LEAP Settings) and reinstall from COMMEND website.

    Best,

    Tory
