    Hi

I would like to know whether we can set constraints on other resources (other than energy) on LEAP, like water, land available for industries or agriculture or setting up solar power plants etc

How do we feed in pollution level from different end users, suitable to India's usage patterns?

Can we match this pollution to pollution on land, water, air?

    Rgds

    Hi Sarada,

LEAP currently does not include water or land constraints. You might be interested to know that we are currently working to integrate LEAP with another model developed by SEI, WEAP (the Water Evaluation And Planning system). To read more about WEAP, please go to www.weap21.org.

Environmental effects of any kind should be added at the "Environmental Loadings" variable at the technology branch level (emission and pollution factors are always entered at the lowest level branches). For more information on adding effects and emission factors, see section 1.5 of the training exercises found on the website here on the LEAP: Training Materials page.

You can always add new environmental effects in LEAP on the effects screen. To read more about this, please see the documentation in our user guide below.
