If I attempt to paste a row from Excel that starts with a zero or a blank into the Builder, instead of getting the "Array Paste Options" pop-up window, it simply pastes the numbers, which the Builder interprets as garbage. On my machine, it seems to be consistently true that a row that starts with a non-zero value works fine, but a row that starts with a zero or a blank will not copy correctly.

I am running Windows XP Professional Version 5.1.2600, Version 2008.0.0.94 of LEAP, and Microsoft Excel 2007.

    Hi Ralph,

Actually, this is a known issue that is not a quick fix. LEAP will not recognize a single row or column range from Excel where the first value is blank or zero. It is on our list of updates and we hope to address it in an upcoming release of LEAP.

In the meantime, we recommend pasting a smaller range starting with a non-zero value and adding the zeros manually. You can also paste 2 rows or columns immediately next to each other the first with years and the second with values, and LEAP will import all values, non-zero and zero or black.

Here is the documentation on pasting arrays from Excel, if you have not already seen it:
