LEAP 2011, which will be released later this month, will address some of these issues. Below are more specific answers to your questions:
1. Based on the feedback we have gotten from the larger user community we are devoting our energy to integrating the new optimization functionality into LEAP. This bug in the diagram view is not a priority for this first release.
2. This will be possible with LEAP 2011. This new version of LEAP installs in a different folder than the existing version. You can continue to use the older version alongside the newer version, and you can also run both simultaneously so you can compare results.
3. We are currently working to have a complete documentation of the new components of LEAP 2011 for the full release later this month.
