    Hello,

I have a question concerning the GrowthAs function. I want to use two different GDP elasticities of energy consumption (one for the period 2000-2010 and one for the period 2010-2020), but I noticed that it is not possible with the GrowthAs function. Is there some other way?

    Thank you in advance.

    Sincerely,

    Argiro

    Hi Argiro,

You are correct that the GrowthAs function only allows the use of one elasticity parameter. In the case of the kind of more complex relationship that you are describing, I would recommend calculating the growth rates that you want for each time period using Excel and then use the Growth function. The growth function does allow for different growth rates for different time periods.

    Best,
