    Following on from the recent release of LEAP 2011, some of the supporting training materials and documentation have now also been updated:

    1. The main LEAP Training Materials have now been updated to be fully compatible with LEAP 2011. In addition to training materials, we have also updated the accompanying LEAP data sets. You can get them here:

    2. The LEAP User Guide has also been fully updated to reflect the changes in the LEAP 2011. You can access it either as interactive HTML web pages or as a single printable PDF file, here:

    NB: the PDF version is 301 pages long, so for obvious reasons we recommend that you do not print it!

    Please note that text materials and user guide are currently only available in English. If you are interested in helping us translate these materials please let us know at leap@sei-us.org.

    3. Finally, we want to note that LEAP2011 has already been updated to fix a number of bugs in the initial release. We recommend that you upgrade to the most recent version (currently 2011.0.0.18). You can upgrade manually by going to Help: Check for Updates menu item within LEAP or you can do a full download here:

    Hi there,

    I tried to download the training materials from http://www.tinyurl.com/LEAPTrainingMaterials, but I cannot make it. All downloaded files have 0 kB.

    Hi Jakapong,

    The general purpose training materials and LEAP datasets should all be accessible, but perhaps there is an issue with your specific browser.

    Can you tell me which browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and version you are using and specifically which item you are trying to download? To help me troubleshoot please give me the text of any errors or dialogue boxes you get and/or please feel free to send screen shots to leap@sei-us.org.

    Hi Tory,

    Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

    It is as you mention that about browser. I could not download any LEAP file (*.leap) by using Google Chrome; now I am using 12.0.742.91 m version. However, I can download all of them by using Firefox.

    I just found that training material file "Exercise 3" could not be downloaded by using all browsers.

    Hi Jakapong,

    Unfortunately I cannot replicate this issue. I just checked all of the files, including "Exercise 3," and I was able to download them in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. I am using the most up to date versions of each browser (i.e. 12.0.742.100 in Chrome). Hopefully that means that if you update your browsers you will be able to download without a problem.

    Just in case, though, I will email you the Exercise 3 file directly.
