Hi Tory, Charlie and forum followers,

I would like to know if it's possible to reference a data value (or expression) from another scenario, in particular the same variable, but could be more general to another one.

I this case, I'm working with a complex maximum availability seasonally expression for hydro power plants, an several scenarios, so it would be very useful to refer different scenarios to one.

I could define a key assumption but I think in these case would be more convenient the other way... if it's possible! :)

    Thanks a lot!
    Fran.

    Hi Fran,

Have you looked at the Scenario Value function? This lets you reference the value of the current branch in another scenario...

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Expressions/ScenarioValue.htm

I have not yet made a version of this that could also point to a different branch but that would not be hard.

There is also a ScenarioGrowth function.

Let me know if this helps...

    Charlie

That is exactly what I wanted to do!
I have browsed the help but I couldn't find it.

    Thanks a lot!
    Regards,
    Fran.
