    Hello

For the Execise 1.4.2 Electricity Generation, the Result of Transformation: Output (page 27). My Results View showed only base year (2010) but the others 2011 to 2040 there are all zeros (no bar chart). I got the Diagram View the same as on page 26.I carefully check (enter) the information on the Endogenous Capacity and also set the dispatch merit order of each process. Did I miss somethings else? please suggest me.

    Thank you very much.
    Regard
    Buncha

    Hi Buncha,

It's hard to say exactly what the problem might be, but I'd encourage you to double-check each of your inputs under the Reference scenario, including in the Demand branches of your tree. Often a problem like this will arise because accidentally, there is no electrical demand in the Reference scenario, and therefore no reason for LEAP to generate any electricity. I know that this seems a little bit unlikely, since you've already completed up to Exercise 1.3, but it's worth looking nonetheless.

Also keep in mind that from the Freedonia data set distributed with LEAP, you can click Area->Revert to Version-> Exercise 1 Completed, and compare your model with one that is already done.

    Best of luck,

    Taylor

    Hi Taylor,

After I have checked each of inputs under the Reference scenario and in the Demand branches as your suggestion,
I got the completed Result now. I thought the major problem is
about the information in the Demand branches.

    Thank you very much

    Regards,

    Buncha

    Hello 飞雪,郭 ,

We recommend that users who are new to LEAP work their way through our available training materials, at their own pace. These materials are available here:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/default.asp?action=42

The training modules are designed to give a good overview of LEAP's core functions, and help to get you started creating your own data sets. If you have further questions, you can consult the user guide, here:

or use this forum to ask questions. Please post questions about new topics to their own thread.

    Hope that helps!
