    HI
I am trying to open the LEAP dataset used in the study: Low-carbon Development for Mexico, but it is not possible when I trying to open LEAP, perhaps, it could be the version of LEAP. Could you help me to open or update the dataset used in this study?

    Hi Jesus,

Apologies for the trouble. LEAP models created with a sufficiently older version of the software need to undergo a conversion process, which must be run as a computer administrator. Thank you for pointing the data set out to us.

I've converted it for use with current versions of LEAP, and emailed it directly to you (the version available on our webpage has also been updated). You should be receiving it shortly.

    Best,

    Taylor

    Thank you,

    Hi Ilika,

Thank you for the notice - I've done the same for you as I have for Jesus. You should be receiving an email from me shortly with the LEAP data set .

    Hi Taylor,

I downloaded the MEDEC data set for Mexico but it looks to me as if there is missing data. I have attached a screenshot. For instance it does not display any numbers in the expression column (in Demand Cost tab) and has 'unspecified units'. I am fairly new to the tool so apologies if my question is basic. Many thanks in advance
    Regards
    Gaetan

    Hi Gaetan,

The model was not built by SEI, so I cannot comment on any missing data. However, 'unspecified unit' is a valid unit in LEAP - it does not indicate that any values are missing.

    Best,
