Is it possible to embed the electricity distribution data in LEAP. I am talking about choosing a local area ( a part of city) and modeling the energy demand & consumption for the selected area.
    Thanks

    Hi Hasret,

There is some functionality for specifying different regions within a LEAP area, depending on what you're trying to achieve. To start, have a look here:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Supporting_Screens/Regions.htm

The primary function of LEAP's 'Regions' feature is to make accounting easier, however, and it does not yet support more advanced functions. It's possible to look at the demand within a particular region defined in LEAP, which perhaps is all you intend to do.

Beyond that, I'm not sure quite what you mean by 'embed electricity distribution data' - perhaps you could modify the electrical losses in your Transmission module (assuming you have defined one, in your Transformation branches) to reflect additional loss brought about by a local distribution network?

    Hope this helps,

    Taylor
