Hi John,
It does sound strange that your installation simply freezes, mid-process - sorry you're having trouble.
I'm not certain what's occurring. One option may be to right-click on LEAP's setup.exe file and select 'Run as Administrator'. It's also possible that there was some an error during the file download (setup.exe) - I would suggest re-downloading this file and trying again.
Sorry to not have a more definite answer at the moment, but I want to make sure there isn't a problem with your setup file!
