    Hi
why when adding new renewable technologies capacities to contribute in generating electricity in the future to save the fossil fuel and reduce GHGs emissions. I got a reduction in GHGs emissions but I didn't get any reduction in the fuel required which is supposed to happen when replacing the based fossil fuel technology with renewable technologies.

Iam really confused and I have tried hundered times to figure out what is the problem and where but I couldn't.

    please help

    Hi Amani,

Are you sure that the new technology that you added consumes a different kind of fuel than the other plants in your electricity system? Unfortunately it's difficult to offer advice with limited information, when I haven't seen your model.

Please have a quick look at our Discussion Guidelines, so be sure that you're posting the right kinds of information for us to help you. Make sure you describe exactly type of renewable process that you have added in your electricity generation module.
