    Hello,

I am relatively new to LEAP so hopefully this isn't a stupid question.

Whenever I go into the Technology database I just get a "This page can't be displayed' error message.
I have reinstalled the software but the same thing happens. When I follow the address to the folder location on my computer the folder doesn't exist. So I am assuming this is the cause of this error.

Could someone advise if its likely I am doing something wrong during the installation, or if I have missed something from the website that I was meant to also install to see these pages.

    Regards

    Tom

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks very much for pointing that out. You're correct, the path to HTML documents that is specified in TED information pages has been modified in recent versions of LEAP, but it seems that it has not been updated everywhere.

In the meantime, you can access the information pages directly, through the directory:

    My Documents\LEAP2011 Areas\_LEAP Settings\html

Many of the elements of path names have been truncated, so you will need to use your best judgement. For example, the file pointed to in TED by:

    ...\html\conversion\processing\oil refining.html

    ...can instead be found at:

    ...\html\Conv\Proc\OilRefining.html

many of these pages are quite dated, however, and you would be advised to seek more current sources of information.

Note that TED contains far more than just HTML information pages, though. Have a look at the following introduction:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/TED/TED_Intro.htm

    Hope this helps,

    Taylor

    Hi Taylor,

    Thanks for your reply.

When I follow those directory paths on my computer the end folder (html)is empty.

I checked to make sure nothing was hidden in the folder and again I have un-installed and reinstalled but the files are still missing.

Is there anyway to download these files separately and then cut/paste them into this directory?

    Hi Thomas,

I can confirm that some files are missing in the most recent version of LEAP - apologies for the inconvenience.

We'll have it fixed in the next version of LEAP. Please wait until then for the files.

    All the best,

    Taylor

    Hi Thomas,

Though this post may be a little bit late, I wanted to inform you that these files have been re-incorporated into recent versions of LEAP. To get the latest release, please select Help: Check for Updates from the main menu.

    Best,
