I want ensure the character of CNG in default fuel database, the state of which is liquid and the net energy value is 1000 times of my data.Is this because the different criterion or some other reasons.
    Many thanks.

    Ella.

    Hi Ella,

Please be sure you're performing the conversion to GJ/tonne (the units for CNG in LEAP's database) properly - it's easy to forget about factors of 1000!

As confirmation, you can also review Table 1.2 of the introduction to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories, Volume 2 Energy:

    Hi Taylor,
Thanks for your reply.I already know what the problem is.The data I use are measured by natral gas though the type of the fuel is CNG(Compressed Natral Gas).Still I can not find CNG in Table 1.2 of the introduction to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories.

    Ella.
