    Hello,

I have installed LEAP for my course and I am now dealing with Exercises.

At first time I installed it on my computer, it gives me error everytime I click somewhere such as confirming of setting parameter, making new directly, etc in the middle of my work.
After that it continues keep showing errors and there was no way other than shut LEAP down.

I tried re-install of LEAP but nothing has changed.

I have sent error reports but I couldn't receive any answer so I gave it up and uninstall it and delete even the data in my Documents/LEAP2011 Areas.
After trying this, I reinstalled LEAP again but it gives different type of errors from last time and I can't send report for these errors this time.

    The errors always begin with
"NexusDB: nxDatabase: Table does not exist. Error opening files..."

    Any help?

Sorry for the problems and thanks also for posting the system information - that is helpful.

I see from this information that you are running as a standard user, ie you do not have administrative rights on that Windows account.

As you may know, you need to have administrative rights to initially install LEAP. But once installed properly, LEAP is designed to run LEAP under a standard user account. However, the error message you note does seem to be related to some files being inaccessible, which could possibly be related to not having administrative access rights. At this stage I'm afraid I cannot be more certain.

So at this stage I would suggest trying to run LEAP with administrative access rights if that is a possibility for you.

Please also note that I have just posted a new version of LEAP that does fix some bugs (2014.1.17). Please test that new version to see if it helps.

    Best,

    Charlie

    Hi Yuta,

I wanted to draw your attention to the following post, which I think pertains to the problem you're experiencing:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/default.asp?action=9&read=3184&fid=22

We hope these suggestions are useful for you. In the meantime, please also update to the latest version of LEAP (by clicking Help: Check for Updates), which has improved internal error reporting capabilities.

    Thank you,

    Taylor
