Hi.
I got a lot of error message when I using Windows 7.
So, I got updated 2014.0.1.18 today.
But, when I make a new area, the error message is coming up. Like this.

Fatal error while opening area "new area".
Missing data file: "Scenarios"
LEAP will now close.
-----------------------------------------------

Now, I can't make new areas. But, it works in old version leap files.
How can I fix it?

Hi Jeong,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Please provide the following items, to help us diagnose the problem:

1) When you create a new area, are you attempting to create the area from the default area, or as a copy of an existing area?

2) Does the error message appear immediately after you click 'Okay', on the create New Area box? If not, please provide an exact set of steps for reproducing the error.

3) Finally, can you please provide a screenshot of the error, as well as a copy of your LEAP.log file, which can be found in My Documents\LEAP2011 Areas\_LEAP Settings\LEAP.log? You can email these files directly to us at leap@sei-us.org.

Hi Taylor.
I fixed problem yesterday.
I changed folders in Basic Parameters menu, and delete 'My Documents\LEAP2011 Areas' folder. Then the error message is not appear any more.

and my answer is...
1) I select 'from the default area'
2) Yes, the error message appear immediately after I click 'Okay'.
3) I was delete 'My Documents\LEAP2011 Areas' folder, sorry.
