    Dear forum,

I have a model for electricity planning (and its results) run on a previous version of LEAP (2012.0.0.51), but when running the same model on a newer version (2014.0.1.18) the following happens:
    1) I obtain very similar expansion plans
    2) The energy production however is very different to each other. In particular, the output of the newer version shows large quantities of unmet requiremets (about 30-40% of demand). Many hydropower and existing power plants appear to generate very few energy over the years.

    Any ideas?
    Txs, Jannik

    Hi Jannik,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Would you be comfortable attaching your LEAP model to this thread? Otherwise, you can email it to leap@sei-us.org, and we'll investigate.

If you could also provide a careful description of the differences which you're seeing, that would be very helpful too.

    Best,

    Taylor
