Unfortunately, it is not possible to view energy demand in physical units in LEAP. This is a built-in limitation due to the fact that often several fuels are being displayed together in the overall demand, and it would be inappropriate to express them in a common unit. Note however that some of the available energy units bear resemblance to physical units (i.e. gallons of gasoline equivalent, or tonnes of oil equivalent, etc...).
However, the Table view of LEAP's results can easily be exported to MS Excel (by selecting the green Excel icon on the right panel of LEAP's Results view). In the spreadsheet, you can then calculate the equivalent physical units using the energy contents and mass densities which are provided in LEAP's Fuels database.
