My LEAP User License expires on the 28th of January. How do I renew it? If I click on the appropriate license option it just says that I am already registered. I don't seem to find any options for renewal.

    Hi Musharrat,

You are correct to visit http://www.energycommunity.org/licensing to reapply for a new license, by selecting the appropriate category. However, you can only reapply once your current license expires.

    Best,

    Taylor

Same problem here. Installed the new 2014.0.1.20 version and tried to register LEAP when prompted. Checked my registration information on the COMMEND website and found that I have a "Currently valid LEAP License." However, the installed LEAP on my computer shows a warning message, stating "That registration code has expired. Non-expiring license codes are no longer supported."

Tried to renew my registration on the COMMEND website and clicking on the options only returns "Currently valid LEAP License."

Please advise what I need to do to fully enable my installed copy of LEAP.

    Thank you very much.

Sorry for the trouble with your license renewal, Erwin. I think that some users with old license codes are recognized as having a valid license by our website, even though recent versions of LEAP no longer support these codes.

I've processed your license renewal, and you should be receiving a separate email from us shortly.

    All the best,

    Taylor

    Hi Taylor.

I've also encountered the same problem with Erwin. My license expires today (April 24). I did check the licensing option here in COMMEND but it still says that I currently hold a valid LEAP license.

Does renewal have to be a day after the license expiration?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Raki,

Usually that is correct, so I just renewed your license for another two years.

    Take care,

    Taylor

    Hello,

My LEAP license was supposed to expire on 27/5/2016, but the registration code is no longer working today on 26/5. I attempted to apply for another one-year student license, and the Commend site says that my license is still valid. Can I renew my license today? Or do I need to wait until the 27th or 28th?

    Thanks,
    Megan

    Hi Megan,

You'll need to reapply once your old license expires (don't worry, applications are reviewed within a day). This is to ensure that users have the opportunity to update their COMMEND profile to include the latest details about what they're doing with the software. Please make sure you include any relevant updates before applying, to make sure it's processed as quickly as possible.

    Thank you,
    Taylor
