    Hello:

I tried the first example I could not get the same results as page 15 of the training material.

It seems that the number of households (8 million) does not effect the calculations. When I change it the results do not change.

    Please advise.

    Thank you,
    Hasmet Gokrmak

    Hi Hasmet,

Can you tell me a little bit more what you see? Which results are you referring to, that do not appear to change once you adjust the number of households?

Using an activity analysis (http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Demand/Activity_Level_Analysis.htm), LEAP calculates final energy demand by multiplying an activity level (8 million households) by an energy intensity per unit of activity. Are you sure you've selected the proper branch type for each technology (the grey gear icon, Technology with Energy Intensity)?

Hope this helps, though it's difficult to provide a solution without more information.
