    A user recently asked over email if it was possible to specify different process merit orders during different time slices. I'm providing my answer here for others:

    ============================

    Merit Order is one of LEAP's time-sliced variables, which means that you can enter different values in each time slice. There are two ways to do this:

    1. Define a yearly shape of type €˜Merit Order Shape€™, and enter different values in each time slice. Then assign this new shape to the Merit Order variable for the desired process using the YearlyShape function.

    2. Manually enter different merit order values for your process using the TimeSliceValue function.

    In either case, you will need to ensure that the merit order you enter are integer values only. I€™ve included some links below to our online help files, which will help guide you through the necessary steps if you need some extra assistance.
