Dear Sir,

I am a Chinese but studying for my PhD in USA now. The project that I am using LEAP for is a simulation of Chine energy demand. However, I could not get the starter data set after installation since it is not available for US yet.

I wonder if there is a way for me to get a starter data set in the current circumstance.

Hi Jiajing,

Our starter datasets are only made available for non-OECD countries, and our agreement with the data provider prohibits us from distributing them to anyone but residents of that country. I'm afraid that we'll be unable to give you a starter dataset for USA.
