    Hi,

I am doing modelling of biomass. But, I have some questions about it,

    a) In the list of "first feedstock fuel" appears "Biomass", but I would like to know the specific characteristics of this, how can I see the basic characteristics?

    b) In the list "first feedstock fuel" also appears "animal wastes" and "bagasse", which is the difference with the simple biomass feedstock?.

    c) Also, I would like to know specific characteristics for "vegetal wastes" and "municipal solid wastes".

    d) is there any way to model a co-firing plant?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Regards,

    Ricardo

    Hi Ricardo,

You can view (and change) all of the properties of each fuel in LEAP by visiting the Fuels database. Click on the 'Fuels' button in the toolbar to access it. Here you can also add custom fuels if you wish.

One way of modeling a co-firing plant is to add multiple feedstock fuels to a transformation process. Once you've created the process, click on the category below it entitled 'Feedstock Fuels' and click "+" to add another fuel. You will then need to assign fuel shares for each separate fuel.

    Hope this helps,
