    Hi!

Why does my Transmission and Distribution node not connect to the demand node?

    Thanks!

    Hi Rudolph,

When you right-click on your Transmissions and Distribution module to view its Properties, what type of module is it (i.e. a 'simple' module, or not a simple module)? Typically we recommend the use of a 'simple' module for T+D loss, outlined here:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Transformation/Schematic_of_Simple_Module.htm

However, if the module is not 'simple' and you have specified different output fuels, then it is possible that none of these output fuels are connected to Demand because there is no demand for these fuels.

Another possibility, which we are aware of, results from a small bug in the diagram view which causes some connecting lines not to be drawn. Unfortunately, as we are in the process of phasing out the Diagram view in favor of newer Sankey diagrams, I cannot promise that this will be resolved.

    Hope this helps,
    Taylor

Thanks for your reply! Much appreciated.

Yes, it is a simple module, so don't know what could be the problem.

See the attached powerpoint slide in my previous message for the diagram. It seems like the line that is supposed to go from T&D to demand, goes from Electricity Generation to Demand (skipping T&D).
