    Hi Taylor,

Can I select two different ranges in an Excel sheet in which the first row contains data years and its population data in the second row?

I dont know how to write in the range blank.

    Thanks,

    Josu Markina

    Hi Josu,

You may specify year and value data pairs as the argument to LEAP's Interp() function, by including the Excel range. Have a look at this help page:

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Expressions/Excel_Ranges.htm

    Good luck,

    Taylor

I created an excel spreadsheet with three separete ranges, containing the years and the data. I did it this way to fit into a page. Is there any possibility to solve it?

    Thanks.

    Josu,

I'm not sure I understand why you have three separate ranges. Can you explain how the Interp() function, mentioned in my previous post, will not work?

    Sorry Taylor,

    I`ll try to explain better.

There are the following ranges in the spreadsheet:

    1. B1:N2
    2. B4:N5
    3. B7:L8

I could change the format of that page if necessary but Id like to do
    this way.

    Thanks

    Hi Josu,

I would recommend that you format your data in a way most compatible with LEAP. A clean way to do this is to create a "Summary" worksheet in Excel that gathers data from the rest of your workbook and presents it in a way that is simple for LEAP to read.

    Best,
    Taylor
