    Take the CO for example, if I change the vehicle fuel economy from 9.5 L/100 km to 10.5 L/100 km, in the condition that I use the CO Emmission Factor as 4.6 g/km and with vehicle stocks unchaged, the subject results up-posted come out. If I do not have the EF as some number with g/L, how I suppose to do with this problem? Who knows, please give me some clue! Thank you!

    Hi Yianjie,

    If I understand your question correctly, you have specified a CO emission factor as 4.6 g/km for a stock turnover technology, and have found that total CO emissions are not affected by the Fuel Economy variable - is that right?

    If the emission factor is given per unit of distance traveled, then the amount of fuel consumed will have no impact on the pollutant emissions. Only changes to the vehicles Mileage variable would produce different emissions.
