    Hi Taylor,
I made a mode of electricity system for three different region, said region A, B, and C. I set demand for each region with electricity A, electricity B, and electricity C. the same thing I did in transmission system and power plant. however, I used the same primary energy for transformation process in all region to produce three kind of electricity. when I ran this model, I had error in energy balance and couldn't display sankey diagram...
in result view, everything seem no problem.
please, you input will be very useful...

    regards,
    rahmat

    Hi Rahmat,

I'm afraid you're going to need to be more specific.

    a) What are the exact steps that you have taken just before the error occurs?
    b) What, specifically, does the error say?
    c) Are you using LEAP's "Regions" feature?
    d) How have you defined three kinds of electricity?

Please also make sure you're running the most up-to-date version of LEAP, which can be downloaded here:

    Hi Taylor,
    thanks for the replay.
    to answer your questions:
    a. I just run the model, and go to the energy balance, and view the sankey diagram. I got error message as in the attached file.
    c. no, I am not using region feature
    d. I defined three kind of electricity as separate fuel, for instance electricity A is just for region A, and so on...

    thanks...

    Hi Rahmat,

Can you attach your model to this thread, or alternatively, email the *.leap file to leap@sei-us.org?

    Thanks very much,
    Taylor

Thank you, Rahmat, I've received your model.

UPDATED 04/15/16 (original response was not accurate):

You are experiencing the problem because you have assigned the same name to both a transformation process and the module's output fuel. In your model, this occurs for each of your three transmission and distribution modules.

We'll try to address this for the next version of the software. In the meantime, I suggest modifying the name of your of your transmission processes so that they are different than the name of the module's output fuel.

    Very sorry for the inconvenience,

    Taylor
