    hi there,

once we setup a second load shape for a second scenario in the 'yearly shapes' under the 'general' menu tab, why can't we choose that 2nd load shape for the 2nd scenario from the 'system peak load shape' variable under the Electricity generation branch?

    thank you

    Hi Dorji,

Can you give us a precise set of instructions for reproducing the problem? There should be no reason that you cannot do this. LEAP is designed to us different load shapes within each scenario, if you wish.

    Best,
    Taylor

    Thank you Taylor.

while carrying out the DSM exercise under section 1.6, I have created the DSM load shape as per instruction provided in Page 31.

I try to choose DSM load shape as the yearlyshape under the DSM scenario, but the expression retains only the DefaultYearlyShape and not the DSM load shape.

I have created the DSM load shape as per the time slices provided in the exercise.

Further support from your good self would be highly appreciated.

    thank you

    Dorji

    Hi Dorji,

Ah - I've noticed this. Thank you for pointing it out. You will need to manually type the expression into the field - don't forget the brackets:

    YearlyShape(DSM Load Shape)

We'll fix this shortly in a new version of LEAP. Sorry for the inconvenience,

    Taylor

thank you Taylor, I could resolve the issue.

similar thing happens while choosing the dispatch rule for new wind plant and NGCC under exercise 4.3.5.

When choosing 'merit order' as the dispatch rule from the E builder, the expression retains the 'percentshare'. But when I type merit order directly in the Expression, then it is retained.
