    Greetings,

    I have learnt LEAP which can create OSeMOSYS data file for independen OSeMOSYS optimization.
    In Basic Params: Optimization, we can look that LEAP uses OSeMOSYS 2013_09_08 version (see attachment).
    I have several questions :

    1. Why does latest LEAP version (2015.0.29) still use 2013 OSeMOSYS version even though newer OSeMOSYS version (currently 2016-08-01) has been released? Is there any particular reason behind this decision?

    2. Can we change the OSeMOSYS main file seamlessly in LEAP optimization's calculation? Because in the newer version of OSeMOSYS, there is new feature to export the result in comma-separated values (.csv) file and I need it.

    Hi Wicaksono,

    1) As you may know, LEAP is developed, maintained and supported by Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), an international, independent, not-for-profit research organization. Therefore, we use the resources we have available to prioritize software development efforts in order to meet the most pressing needs of LEAP users. With that being said, integrating the latest version of OSeMOSYS into LEAP is on our radar and will hopefully be incorporated in a newer version of LEAP in upcoming months.

    2) Only OSeMOSYS version 2013_09_08 is compatible with LEAP.
