    Dear All

    Thanks. I using most recent
version of LEAP 2015.0.30.0. In exercise 1, there is an instruction
to add two plants to replace the retired coal plant.
    New
Coal plant 500 MW and New Oil 300 MW. When check on the capacity newly
installed in in2020, i see both plants (800 MW total) but for the year
2040 I see only one plant of 300 MW, what could have gone wrong ?

    Kind Regards

    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thank you for your post. To start, I encourage you to go back through the training exercise to ensure that all of the required inputs have been entered correctly.

Note that LEAP has a completed version of the Freedonia dataset which you can use to compare your model side-by-side. To access this, open another copy of LEAP, go to Area>Open and select "Freedonia". Then go to Area>Revert to Version. Here you will find several completed versions of the Freedonia model at different points of the training exercise. I believe the version you are interested in is "1.4.3 Transformation Electricity Generation".

If you are still unable to find the issue, please provide a screenshot of the result that you are viewing so that we can identify what the problem is.

    Thanks!
    Emily
