    Greetings,

    In LEAP Help within the LEAP software or LEAP HELP in website, there are explanations for every parameters in LEAP. I have question :

    1. Is there any detail calculation for Peak Requirement in the Result? Because I've searched for that in LEAP Help website (http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Results_Categories/Peak_Power.htm?rhhlterm=peak%20requirement&rhsyns=%20) or LEAP section within the software, there is no detail calculation for Peak Power results, it's just description for Peak Power results.

    Thank you for anybody answering my question.

    Tri Ilham

    Hi Tri Ilham,

    The results Transformation:Peak Power Requirements shows you the peak power requirements for the module (not necessarily peak power outputs). The only relevant help file describes something called "Peak Power", as you have already found - but this file is not quite correct and needs to be updated. We'll do this in a future version of LEAP, and we apologize for the confusion.

    Peak power requirements P are given by:

    P = A / [Sum over time slices t ] (p_t * h_t)

    where:
    A = total annual energy demand
    p_t = percentage of peak power requirements in time slice t (information contained in your load curve)
    h_t = width of time slice t (information contained in your time slice setup)

    Hope this helps,

    Taylor
