    Dear all,

I need to create three different yearly shapes with different time slices namely Annual Load Curve, Availability Hydropower RoR and Availability Hydro Reservoir. The maximum availability of hydro RoR and hydro reservoir changes with seasons. How can I assign different time slices(with seasonal variation) to different yearly shapes.

    Looking for your help.

    Regards,
    Pritam

    Hi Pritam,

I'm not quite clear - are you saying that the Maximum Availability of your hydro plant varies by season, but you want your other Yearly Shapes (for example, your annual load curve) to vary using a different set of time slices (i.e. monthly, daily, etc.)?

Note that you may only use one set of time slices in LEAP for all of your Yearly Shapes. So, assuming what I said above is true, I would recommend choosing a set of time slices which is compatible with all of the temporal variations for each of your three yearly shapes. For example, if you want one Yearly Shape to vary by season, and another Yearly Shape to vary by month, then you would set up monthly time slices. You would then assign the same seasonal value for all months in each season, but for other Yearly Shapes, you still retain the freedom to specify separate values in each month if you wish.

    Best,
