    Hi Kamrujjaman,

Can you be a little more specific about what you mean by the "water sector"? Do you mean the energy requirements of the water sector, or to evaluate water management practices independently of energy?

SEI also develops and maintains the Water Evaluation And Planning system (http://www.weap21.org/), which may be more a appropriate tool for your research program.

    Hi Taylor,
Thank you very much for your reply. Actually I was looking for a tool which would enable me to calculate, evaluate and plan regarding water quality management. I think that I a have obtained my solution from your reply which is WEAP ("Water Evaluation And Planning" system).

It's really unfortunate that currently due to booming population, unplanned rapid urbanization and industrialization as well as application of calculation-less synthetic herbicides, pesticides, insecticides and fertilizer in agricultural field, the water bodies of our country are facing serious pollution. There is no legal binding to harvest rain water and ground water levels are gradually falling off. So, water pollution monitoring and water quality management are the prerequisite need to protect our environment.

Again thanks to help me to find WEAP tool.
