Is it possible to use LEAP to model future hydro-power in Africa (Zimbabwe to be specific) using simulated runoff from WEAP? If so, what input data do I need to do that? Anyone to help describing the whole process?

Yes, it is possible to make a connection between WEAP and LEAP. Please take a look at the training materials which describes the input data requirements and how to link the two tools together.
