    Topic: Process Related non-energy emissions-URGENTSubscribe | Previous | Next

The process I am studying has certain process related GHG emissions in addition to the energy related emissions. I have the GHG emission intensity for the process per tonne of produce and the volume of produce. I was able to verify the emission data for energy related emissions but am unable to do so for non-energy related (process) emissions. So how do I include process related GHG emissions, given the volume of produce and GHG emission intensities?

    Hi Aditya,

If I understand your questions correctly, you're wondering how you can enter non-energy sector loadings into your model - is that the jist of your question?

You'll first need to enable Non-Energy Sector Effect Loadings (from Basic Params: Scope). Add categories and effects using any organizational tree that you like.

    http://www.energycommunity.org/WebHelpPro/Non-Energy/Non-Energy_Sector_Analysis.htm

If you wish to express the loading as the product of an emissions intensity and a physical mass/volume/other unit, I would explicitly include both of these terms in a product that you enter into the Non Energy Effect Loading variable.

    Hope this helps,
