I filled out the electricity generation part, and when I turn to Energy balance at the table view at the production everything is 0 and all the date is at the import row. Where I need to do changes at the Analysis mode to have the datas at the production row.

Thanks a lot in advance, Edina Budai

    Hi Edina -

Please be very specific in your questions, explaining precisely what you have done, the exact result that you obtain, and the result that you expected to see instead (and why you expected to see that). This will allow us to offer the most specific and helpful assistance. Based on your description, there could be any number of reasons, and we wouldn't want to lead you in the wrong direction.

You may also consider adding a screenshot or two to your posting to illustrate your questions.

    Best,
    Taylor

    Dear Taylor,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I try to explain the
problem a bit more detailed. So I filled at the Transformation part the
Electricity generation. Photo attached (processes). Then I checked the
energy ballance and I see all the datas at the Import row (energy
balance picture). So my quistion is where I need to put datas to have
the numbers at the production part? If it is necessary I can attach more
pics about other part of the analysis.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Edina,

I think you may have read the energy balance incorrectly because it is not showing any Electricity imports in the first column.

Note that the row called "Production" refers to the production of primary fuel, or a fuel that has not been converted or processed (e.g. coal, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, wind, solar, etc.). The production quantities are typically specified in the Resources branch for each primary fuel. The "Production" row does not show the amount of electricity being generated because this is a secondary fuel created through a transformation process. The amount of electricity generated is shown in the row called "Electricity Generation".

For more information on the Energy Balance table, please read through the following documentation: https://www.energycommunity.org/Help/Views/Energy_Balance_Tables.htm
Also, for definitions of the terms used in the Energy Balance table, please refer to the IEA website: https://www.iea.org/statistics/resources/balancedefinitions/

    Hopefully this helps!

    greetings
I am a student from electrical engineering in Riau Province Indonesia. Currently, I am doing a research on GHG emissions from thermal power plant. in the transformation branch, i already link all the technology with the TED in environment loading. but when I see the result, its just showing the base year and the next year is 0. The result just comes from 2 power plant and another power plant is 0. I am expecting the result will raising significantly over 5 years with 2015 as a base year, 2016 as first scenario year and 2020 as a final year. I attached the file below with the password 082387923219. I really appreciate the help that I get.

    Hi Imam,

First check to make sure that your power plants are producing energy, by viewing the result Transformation: Outputs by Output Fuel. If no energy is being produced, then there will be no emissions.
