Hi,
When I want to link LEAP to WEAP, I get the following error.
Error: this version of leap (2017.0.9.0) can only linked to WEAP version 2016.02 or later. the installed version of WEAP is 2016.01
I downloaded WEAP from here, but the current (latest) version is 2016.01. Is there any new update for WEAP?!? I also looked for previous version of LEAP (to work with WEAP 2016.01), but I could not find it, too.
Could you please let me know what should I do?

Are you able to download the requisite version of WEAP by clicking "Yes" in the dialog?
Also, we recommend that you use the most up-to-date version of LEAP at all times, which is currently 2017.0.11.0. Try clicking Help: Check for Updates, from LEAP's main menu.

As I said before, the latest version in WEAP site is 2016.01 (I downloaded the latest version of LEAP, and WEAP). The latest version of LEAP needs WEAP 2016.02 or later, but the latest version of WEAP is 2016.01
Am I wrong???

Hi again dear Taylor,
I got the new version of WEAP, but I have the following errors:
1) If I run WEAP and select Weaping River Basin in Open Area window, it works correctly. But, if I select Tutorial and click on OK, WEAP will wait for ever without any reaction (I finally kill it via Task Manager).
2) If I run LEAP, I will have a message to start WEAP. I click OK and WEAP will start. Again, WEAP will crash and wait for ever. Also, LEAP throw a Catastrophic Failure and after I click OK, nothing will happen. LEAP will wait like the other tool until I kill WEAP via Task Manager. I also have a random error in LEAP (I could not find the process) which I attached its image.

Hi Safwan and Mostafa -
Sorry for the wait. I am not able to reproduce the problem you have observed, Mostafa, using my own computer. Are you certain you're running the latest version of LEAP as well?
Try opening the "Tutorial" from within WEAP while LEAP is not running. Please let me know if you continue to see the same error.

Hi Mr Taylor. I have the same problem, trying to link WEAP and LEAP. I have de current version of LEAP (2017.011) and WEAP (2016.01). Could you send me the link to download the last version of WEAP (2016.02). Please it is for my thesis project. Thank You.

Hello again
I have a problem with the beta version of WEAP when I try to create the link between WEAP and LEAP i get the message "you can not edit WEAP - LEAP links unless LEAP is running". I try to open them manually but it also does not correct the error.
The problem is that WEAP does not recognize that LEAP is already open or does not want to open it automatically.
Please help me

Hi Juanpablo,
It may be possible that LEAP and WEAP aren't talking to each other even though LEAP is open. You can reset the connection between these two programs by manually re-registering LEAP and WEAP in the Windows Registry. I've attached step-by-step instructions that walks you through this. Hopefully this helps!
