Topic: Use unlinked loading factorsSubscribe | Previous | Next

    Hi.

I am trying to use unlinked loading factors such as sulfur dioxide emission amount per consumed energy.
I put those numbers at the environmental loadings under the feedstock fuels of every fossil-fuel- using process.
However, the result view showed only emission amounts of two processes.
I changed the unit of measurement but other processes seem to have no emissions even though they generated electricity, and emission factors were inserted as well.

I have reviewed the data which I input several times, but I could not find what resulted in this result.

Please let me know how to tackle this issue.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Hana,

I agree that it is unusual that only some processes are showing emissions results. If the emission factors were entered the same way for all of the fossil-fuel processes, then you should see emissions results for all of the fossil-fuel processes that generated electricity.

In case you haven't already done so, I recommend updating to the latest version of LEAP (2017.0.11.0) through Help > Check for Updates. The latest version may have fixed this issue if it was a bug. If this doesn't fix the problem, please send us a copy of your model and I will take a look at it this week. To do this, create a .LEAP file by backing up your LEAP area, and then either attach it here or send it directly to leap@sei-us.org.

    Thanks,
    Emily
