    Hi,
This is my first message in LEAP community. I am trying to develop sankey diagram for Energy system of Pakistan. I have two inquiries:
    1) How to add various fuel as primary resources?
    2) I have coal and natural gas as primary resources whereas LPG, Oil and Electricity as secondary resources. In enegy balance only primary data figures are present whereas secondary are missing. How it is possible to show both?

    looking forward for timely cooperation.

    Best Regards,
    Noor

    Hi Noor,

Welcome to the forums! Here are the answers to your questions:

    1) You cannot add fuels under the Resources branches. Resource tree branches are automatically generated and updated by LEAP to reflect the individual fuels consumed and produced in your area. As you add or delete fuels from your Demand and Transformation branches, the list of fuels under the Resources branches is automatically updated.

    2) The Energy Balance shows energy consumption, conversion and production for primary and secondary fuels that are consumed or produced in your area. If secondary fuels are not being shown in the energy balance, please check that you have correctly specified demand requirements for these fuels. Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears that you have demand branches for these fuels in your area. Check that you have entered demand data - both activity level and energy intensity.total energy data - for the branches using LPG, Oil and Electricity. Note that in addition to using the Energy Balance, you can also verify fuel demands in the Results View by selecting the graph for "Demand: Energy Demand Final Units" from the results selection box. Then use the legend drop-down menu on the right to view "All Fuels", and the x-axis drop-down menu to view "All Years".

If you are still having problems, please send a screenshot of the Energy Balance View and the Results View for "Demand: Energy Demand Final Units" and I can help take a look at the issue as well.

    Thanks,

    Emily
