    Hi...

As you know, when we want to transfer some area (some data) from the older leap (for example leap 2008) to newer version, some problem happened. how can we solve them? is it possible to transfer data without any error??

I have some important data(important area) in the leap 2008 and now I want to export them to leap 2017 but when I did that and want to get the result , some error happened \..!!!

I will be appreciated if someone can help me.

    Thank you

    Hi Albert,

If you haven't already done so, try running the latest version of LEAP as an administrator (to do this, right-click on the LEAP icon from the Start Menu and select "Run as Administrator"). Then open the LEAP2008 files, which should then automatically open the file conversion utility. While this will attempt to convert the file to the newest version, you will likely still come across errors due to the number of changes to the software since LEAP2008 was released. The only way to get rid of the errors is to go through the data imports manually to ensure that they are compatible with the latest version of LEAP.

If you would like, we can try to upgrade the file for you. Feel free to send the files as a single zip file to leap@sei-us.org and we will try to get it running with the latest version of LEAP this week.

    Thanks!

    Emily
