    Hello Dear community,

I'm a new LEAP user. I have began the training material and arrived in the emission part. I can not enable the "Environmental loading" tab. I went in "general>basic parameters>scope and scale" according the material, but there is no this option to tick. There are "Energy Sector Effect Loadings" and "Energy Sector Effect Loadings", both already ticked.

    If anybody can help me...
    Thanks for your attention,
    Jhonathan

    Dear Jhonathan,

Our apologies for the confusion. The process for adding environmental loadings has been slightly changed in the newest version of LEAP (v2018), but has not yet been reflected in the training materials. To enable environmental loadings to be added to the model, first ensure that the "Energy Sector Effect Loadings" option is selected in "General > Basic Parameters > Scope". Next, click on the branch you would like to add emissions to, and then click on the green plus (+) button to add a new effects branch or click the green double plus (+ +) button to add multiple effects from TED. A picture has been attached which shows this process.

    Thanks!
    Emily

    Dear Emily,

Thanks for clarification. I'm learning the spanish traning model and already have notice that it is out of date.

    Cheers.

    Dear Emily,

Thank you for the answer. I hope that the newest version of the training guideline can be released soon.

I have a problem in creating the links of environmental loading to technology branches in Transformation because the double-plus button is not available while the single plus button only for adding new process instead of linking to the TED. Do you have any idea about this?

    Thank you.
    Rivano.
