    Hello,

    i am Modeling Zambia's energy mix by the year 2050.In the results window leap is not displaying power plants added endogenously and plants retired after there specified life of 20 years for solar and 30 years for coal power plant.Where i am going wrong i have tried several times and dont seem to get it right please assist.

    Hi Percy,

    LEAP adds exogenous capacity before adding endogenous capacity, so it is possible that the exogenous capacity additions are meeting capacity requirements, and is why endogenous capacity isn't being added.

    Also, plant retirements only occur for endogenously added plants. If you want exogenous plants to retire, you need specify retirements indirectly through the exogenous capacity variable. For example, if you want to retire an existing 200 MW plant 15 years after the base year of the model (i.e. 2010), you can enter it in the following manner:

    Exogenous Capacity: Step(2010, 200, 2025, 0)
